Running for Fun

Thanks so much to everyone who came along to our third annual fun run on Sunday 22 June.

It was definitely a day of changeable weather but we still had a crowd raring to go at the start point. Everyone completed 2.5km and we think about half of our attendees ran the route twice to complete 5km.

We appreciate everyone's donations on the day - this all goes to fund the work undertaken by Friends of Gyle Park in maintaining and improving our park.

Additionally, the event couldn't have gone ahead without our wonderful volunteer marshalls! If you'd like to volunteer to help us run similar events in the future, please do get in touch.

Lastly, thank you to David Lloyd and Tesco Hermiston for providing the goodie bags for all children taking part and the adults who ran the extra distance!
