In Q4 2024, Friends of Gyle Park ran a survey to find out more about park users - their demographics, needs, pain points and more. The survey received almost 300 responses - thanks to everyone who took the time to respond!
Improvements already under way
Your input allowed us to put things into perspective, and quotes from the survey have already helped FOGP make a strong case in discussions with the council around lighting issues in the park. Works are now being carried out in the park to resolve this. Improvements to the play park are also already in discussion.

Follow-up poll coming soon
A second survey is planned to follow up on the public’s opinion to prioritise shortlist items and give more specific feedback - watch out for announcements online and in the notice board!
